I've long said that when you make tea, the milk should go in first. It's all about getting the correct strength of tea without having to drown it in milk.
Now it’s time for the science behind the pouring of tea:
Did you know?
Pouring cold milk into hot tea makes the proteins denature and that leads to an inferior taste, so the milk needs to be poured first.
